Our Story

The Arizona Girlchoir has offered performance-based choral education to hundreds of girls and young women since 2011. Arizona Girlchoir was founded by Sue Kenly Marshall and a group of interested parents who wanted quality choral and music education for their daughters. With the support of many musicians and laypersons, the choir auditioned singers, chose uniforms, and held its first performances in Spring 2011. By the summer, the choir had established a Board, incorporated as a non-profit, and found a choir home!

Over the years, the choir has grown to five ensembles and two classes, with formal concerts, community performances, and annual summer camps and tour.
